AN ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY INSTITUTION
The KRMWS, Vaishali is an environment friendly school that believes in recycling and encouraging the staff and students of the school to do their bit in conserving the environment. The school has a very active gardening club and is one of the few schools in the NCR to have a Vermicomposting venture that is coordinated by the students themselves.
- • STP – Sewage Treatment Plant. All the waste water is recycled into the school garden
- • Rain Water Harvesting
- • Vermicomposting – the students have their own environment club called ‘Vermies’. Each classroom has two dust-bins. The green one contains bio-degradable waste which is collected on a daily basis and used to make vermicompost
- • Recycling. Not only does the school recycle the waste paper by converting it into note-pads and artistic craft items, old bus tyres have been used to make a beautiful seating area in the garden for the students. Old waste buckets have also been converted into planters that border the school garden.
