PARENTS IN EDUCATION
At the K R Mangalam World School, Vaishali, we believe that the child is the centroid of a triangle, the vertices of which are the parents, the school and the community. The school and the home work in tandem as we have a common aim – to enable each child to be an achiever in the field of her/his choice..
This can only be possible if there is a constant and positive interaction with the parents throughout the academic year. The channel of communication with the parents includes
- Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings spaced out over the academic year to ensure that each parent has had at least six formal interactions with the teachers of the school regarding their ward’s progress in the school.

- – Bized – the school communication portal through which parents are kept updated of the attendance and upcoming events of the school.
- – Direct telephonic contact with the class teacher during specified times in the post-school hours
- – Class whatsapp groups for intra-class communication
The parents of the school are a formidable resource for the school and have time and again volunteered their services for the school – students have been able to benefit from the vast experience that parents have shared with them over interactions in school.
Workshops and seminars have been organised in the school for the benefit of the parents – these include topics such as cyber security, self defence for women, counselling, how to handle exam stress, making choices etc.. Orientation programmes are held for the parents to familiarise them with the pedagogical systems of the school.
Parents are invited to the school for all functions such as class presentations, annual days, sports days or cultural presentations.
