On 26th November 2020, grade KG-D conducted an online class assembly on the topic “GURU NANAK JAYANTI”. The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour. Children told about the first Guru of the Sikh religion Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They also told that we should follow the path of universal brotherhood and harmony. The children ‘chanted Shabads’ and looked very impressive as they were dressed up in colourful attires. The class teacher in a small speech gave the overall description of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his work for the society. The teacher also shared with the students that Guru Nanak Jayanti is also known as Gurupurab and is falling on 30th November this year. The assembly ended with a small dance performance by kids & national anthem.
