“A farmer is a magician who produces money from the mud.”
Farmers are the backbone of society. They are the ones who work around the clock to ensure that people don’t starve and die of hunger but they themselves struggle for 2 square meals a day. Therefore, to promote awareness to help and reward farmers for their contribution to society, ‘Kisan Diwas’ was celebrated by the students of K.R. Mangalam World School, Vaishali.
Celebrated across the country on December 23 to honour India’s farmers, ‘Kisan Diwas’ mark the birth anniversary of the nation’s fifth Prime Minister, Choudhary Charan Singh.
