Senior Wing Curriculum and Pedagogy
The Senior Wing comprises classes IX to XII catering to the age group of 14-18 years. The school follows a 5-day week schedule with school timings from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The pragmatic approach combined with a variety of activities like Project Based Learning, Excursions, and Student Exchange Programs, aid better understanding and make learning productive. Enrichment activities are planned as per CBSE guidelines throughout the year to add value to the process and develop comprehensive personalities. The faculty acts as a guide and facilitator for all team-based projects and group discussions, making students independent logical thinkers.
ACADEMICS
In order to promote Competency-Based Education (CBE), the school has adopted various methodologies at Secondary and Senior Secondary to adopt NCERT learning outcome. The assessments are also based on the same approach to test high-order skills of senior students.
The National Education Policy 2020 has affirmed that competency-based learning is integral to develop the creative and critical thinking capacities of students to meet the challenges of the 21st century proactively. It emphasizes on equipping students with problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and conceptual clarity.
Scheme of subjects at Secondary Level (IX & X)
At this age, students become logical thinkers and possess the ability to find effective and scientific solutions to address real-life problems.
Focus
The children at this level practice abstract, diverse, and open-ended assignments and situations-based tasks. They are evaluated based on their strengths and conceptual aptitude to foster meaningful learning without stressing about success and failures. The subjects are transacted through smart classes and hands-on learning making understanding of concepts easier and stimulating.

The curriculum at Senior Secondary Level is based on the aptitude and academic performance of the child in class X. The child has an option to choose the subjects as per his interest and abilities.

ASSESSMENT
Grades IX & X
Formal Assessment:
The assessments are conducted as per the remodeled assessment structure given by CBSE which is explained below:
Co-Scholastic: The students are assessed in the following domains: Life Skills, Work Education, Visual and Performing Arts, Attitudes and Values, Club Activities, and Health and Physical activities
The students are assigned grades for co-scholastic assessment on a five-point scale (A-E). The minimum qualifying grade in all subjects under the Co-Scholastic Domain is D.
The school follows the system of Periodic Tests as per the Uniform Assessment Guidelines of CBSE. The composition of the Term exam is as follows:

For Grade XI The academic session is divided into two terms. There will be one set of Unit Tests in the First Term and another set of Unit Tests in the Second Term. Each of the unit tests will carry 30 marks. In addition to this, there will be a First Term and a Final Exam for 70/80 marks each and Practical/Project for 20/30 marks each.
For Grade XII Public Examination is held by CBSE for this class in Feb/March and the results are declared in May. To allow enough practice for the Board Examination, Monday Test and various examinations are held by the school according to the scheme of examination. The students are advised to take these examinations seriously as these examinations will be beneficial for the preparation of the Board Examination.
