‘Cyber Crime and Safety’ was conducted for Grade VI-VIII

In this digital world, where children are increasingly wired to social media and the internet, the concerns of cyber security, cyber bullying and cyber hygiene are pertinent.

To equip students with the pros and cons of usage of internet and cyber safety, a workshop on ‘Cyber Crime and Safety’ was conducted in K.R. Mangalam World School for the students of Grades VI-XII by India’s renowned Cyber Security Expert, Mr. Rakshit Tandon.

The session was interactive and the focus was on social media, browsing threat, internet bullying and age appropriateness of various online games and applications apprising children about ‘being cyber safe.’ It was an eye opener for them as in their own innocence and immaturity they could land into trouble but their awareness would be their own protection. Mr. Tandon elaborated on how to protect their account security and follow the digital safety rules.
